Im married to an Air Force man and we have 4 kids. Can i join the Air Force too?

I am 26 and im married to a man who is in the air force. We have 4 children together and im wondering if i can join the air force too. Ive always heard that if you have too many dependents, that they wont accept you, but is it different if youre married? Or if you have a spouse that is already a military member?Im married to an Air Force man and we have 4 kids. Can i join the Air Force too?
Yes you can, ask your recruiter about the joint spouse program.Im married to an Air Force man and we have 4 kids. Can i join the Air Force too?
I am in the Air Force and I know for a fact that you would be able to join no problem. It is called Joint Spouse. One of my good friends is 27 and married to another Airmen and in the Air Force. You will both be stationed at the same base, BOTH will get single rate BAH and BAS. Not to bad of a deal! They also will only deploy one at a time because of the kids. Go for it! You will love it and make bank!
First time I've ever heard of that.

I think the cut off age is 26 years old or so. You better check with a recruiter fast because I see no reason why you can't join. If there is a valid reason why you can't join, the recruiter will tell you.

There are bonuses when it comes mil-to-mil. Such as TLE(temporary lodging expense), instead of just getting 10 days, you get 20 days. The reason being because both of you can claim 10 days of TLE when PCSing. There are probably some other bonuses, but can't think of them off the top of my head at the moment.
I donlt agree with Lisa either, as long as hubby is willing to take th ekids and you become duel-military then I see no problem, if the AF won;t take you then the army will. The only problem you will have is while you are at training if your husband suddenly gets deployed, you wil ahve ot have someone else standing by to take the kids.
No you can't join. It doesn't matter how many kids, they wouldn't take you if your husband was already in.

If you both went in before you had kids, then it would be fine.
There are many instances where spouses of families with with 3-4 kids have decided to go into the .mil. A family plan will be required. A recruiter will have to help you with the specifics. Good luck to you!!!
Probably not. Your husband won't count as dependent since he's in, but the four kids would.
Have you ever heard of birth control???
