What is the point of dating and getting married?

I just don't know- and really what is the point of having children?

Well if you look at it from a biblical point of view-


God made the marital arrangement for men and women, and they were only to have sex if they were married and they were also supposed to ';fill the earth and subdue it';= aka have children.


People may just be keeping this old ';tradition'; going.


Maybe it in some people's blood so to speak to do this since it has been being done for so long. (ps I'm not religious)

The point to keep living? - maybe that is why people have kids- to give them a reason to keep living.
interesting take on it. I don't think its for everyone. not everyone needs to get married, but it is like a genetic primal intuition, like any other animals its to find a mate and reproduce. I personally don't really want kids, i'm stil on the fence about it, but i think finding someone who loves you and who you can spend the rest of your life with is a beautiful thing
Well having children is the best thing that will ever happen to u . when or if u are at that age .they bring life , hope , love into ur life They will love u NO matter what u do or say !! . They bring the best out of u and if u are a female well to feel that child move inside of u is AMAZING !! once u see that little baby all u can think about he or she is mine all mine and i will love her or him and teach him everything and protect them . U dont and wont have that feeling until u are a parent . I have a girlfriend that NEVER wanted kids. she was so bummed when she found out she was going to UNTIL the baby moved and she saw her '' amy'' on the ultrasound she was in love and now has 4 !!! Shes a wonderful mom ! Being married is the best thing also it's being able to share ur life with that one person to always have her or him to share great memories together , that best friend .My husband always wanted to party and have fun then we had our first child as soon as he held her that was it our lives changed for the better .I hope u DONT PASS this up when its ur time to have a child or children and get married its wonderful feeling having ur own family .U wont be disappointed .it's not all about sex ect ..its aboiut love,family ect . BUT u do want that the right person to share it with so u need to find him or her first
Its tradition. But you don't have to believe there is a point to it. You never have to get married or have children.
So you can get divorced and bitter.
