If a person who has been married to a US citizen & living inthe US for over 55 years can apply for US passport?

My mother has a valid social security number and receives Medicare and files her taxes every year (she does have her green card when first married). She has three (3) daughters born and living in the US. She was married to my father for over 50 years until his death two (2) years ago.If a person who has been married to a US citizen %26amp; living inthe US for over 55 years can apply for US passport?
She has to be a citizen before she can apply for a USA passport. If a person who has been married to a US citizen %26amp; living inthe US for over 55 years can apply for US passport?
If she has her green card, make sure it's not expired. You will have to apply to become a U.S. citizen first in order to apply for a U.S. passport. You need the citizenship certificate present when you go apply for the passport. She probably has a permanent resident green card, but you can't use that. You need to be an actual or naturalized citizen.
Unless she gets naturalized as US Citizen, she cannot apply for US passport. She still has to apply for her citizenship country passport through Embassy or Consulate of that country.
No. She will need to apply for Citizenship and be Naturalized before she is eligible for a US passport,
She must be a US citizen first.
