What is it like to be married to a man in the US Navy?

If your marriage is strong, it will survive and flourish. If you are having problems now, you need to them straightened out. If you don't, then the marriage won't last.





I'll make a statement that probably most won't like but this is what I believe. Any man can join the military and go to war and do what is required but it takes a special lady to go through her own personal torture of being at home with him gone. Being a Navy wife is ,I believe, the hardest job in the world (no offense to any military branch)





Expect loneliness, kiss and hug him as he leaves and reverse the order when he returns. Tears are okay but remain brave. Who knows you may get lucky and not be separated during his enlistment.What is it like to be married to a man in the US Navy?
I am a Army wife. I dont know a whole lot about navy but i do know alot about deployments this is my 2nd one. I have a baby this time. Its much harder just make sure you have a good support group around you if he does deploy and yes there is a war going on and most likely he will. The best advice i give military spouses is good support group to help during deployment and get involed with military spouse to help you cause they will understand how you feel because they have done it. Its tough long distance is always awful plus the conditions there are horrible you can only talk twice a day and its hard to get through the week i would advise against it
gonna be gone a lot and at the most inopportune times
