What are some sitcom cliches for married couples?

My lady friend and I are talking about it, but she doesn't watch a lot of television so we're having problems thinking of things!!

Some examples:

-The couple has another couple that they are best friends with. The wives do wife things together and the husbands play poker and watch sports together. (Think Barney and Fred, Betty and Wilma)

-The Man is fat and stupid but funny, the woman is hot and occasionally a *****. (Doug and Carrie, Peter and Lois)

Thanks, I thought this might be fun. But with my luck no one will answer. XDWhat are some sitcom cliches for married couples?
Married couple with nosy neighbors (The Stevens and Agnes Kravitz on Bewitched, The Tanners and Mrs. Ochmonek on ALF)

Meddling mother-in-law (Endora on Bewitched, Marie on Everyone Loves Raymond)

Father-in-law can't stand the son-in-law (Peter and Mr. Pewterschmidt on Family Guy, George and Vic Palmero on George Lopez Show)

Married couple with messed up sister-in-law (the Connors and Jackie on Roseanne, the Buchmans and Lisa on Mad About You)What are some sitcom cliches for married couples?
He's always fat, she's always thin.

She always wants to go dancing, he never does.

He always does stupid things, she never agrees with his opinions.

He always lies that he's sick or something and goes and plays sports and she finds out.

He can never be rude to his mother and his mother always treats the wife like crap.
Homer and Marge are classics. Typical suburban pair with exaggerated traits that all of us can relate to.

The longer we are married the more Homer and Marge we become. eg, me being much more responsible the older I get. Him getting fatter and more bald. :D
Lucy and Ricky... Fred and Ethel
